Euthymia keeps your notes on your device. An optional account lets you manage your Euthymia identity and connected sign-in methods.
Your notes and drawings
Documents are stored locally. Creating an account does not upload your notes or enable cloud sync. You can use the desktop app locally without an account and remove documents from your device at any time.
Optional accounts
We use Google Firebase Authentication to create and manage accounts. Firebase processes your email address, profile name, connected provider identifiers, and authentication information. Passwords are sent directly to Firebase; Euthymia does not save your password. Google or GitHub sign-in shares the identity information you authorize with Firebase.
GitHub sign-in requests identity and email access, including an email address you keep private on GitHub. It does not request access to your repositories or organizations.
Sessions on your device
The website stores authentication information for your browser session. If you choose “Keep me signed in,” it persists on this browser until you sign out or remove the stored site data. The last successful sign-in method is saved as a reminder, without saving your email address in that reminder.
The desktop keeps its active session in memory. If you choose to remember a desktop session, its refresh credential is stored in the operating system’s credential service. Completing a desktop sign-in does not save that credential in browser storage.
Services and website requests
This site does not add advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The website host and authentication providers process the network requests needed to deliver pages and sign you in. Their handling of request and security information is described in their own policies.

Your choices
You can edit your account profile, change your password, connect sign-in methods, sign out, or delete your account from Account settings. Account deletion removes the Firebase account; it does not remove documents stored on your devices. Signing out ends the current installation or browser session, while other devices can stay signed in.
